We’re on the road again this autumn! Following the success of last year’s Manchester event, we’re heading back there next month for more.
This year’s event on 14 October will mark Ada Lovelace Day, an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
The event will give women from the digital community in the north-west a means of gaining confidence and experience of speaking in public. It will be held at SpacePort, Manchester, and is supported by BBC Women in Tech and magneticNorth.
As before, we hope to have 10-12 speakers talking for 300 Seconds each on a personal or professional passion. If you’d like to give public speaking a try, submit a proposal via the web form.
If you’d like to come along to listen, learn and network, details are:
When: 6pm for a 6.30pm start, Tuesday 14 October
Where: SpacePort, 1st Floor, 24/26 Lever Street, Manchester M1 1DZ
Tickets are free, and available via Eventbrite.
